Roots Of Modern Day Computer Programming Lies In Sanskrit

Couple of months ago, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal drew flak for saying that Sanskrit is the world’s only scientific language. While we take pride in our cultural history, what most of us forget is the scientific contribution our literature has made to the world.  It may be astonishing, but it’s true that Sanskrit is the most ideal language for computer programming, and this has been proved by NASA as well. In this episode of Culture 'Shauk',  we take a look at why scientists believe that Sanskrit is the most suitable language for computer based communications.
