Ayodhya verdict of the Supreme Court has brought true colours of the Congress leaders to the fore. The statements of party leaders before the Ayodhya verdict and after is testimony to it.

Congress leaders once said what is the necessity of building the temple in the disputed land? Another leader Shashi Tharoor said, "No good Hindu would want to see the temple built by demolishing somebody else's place of worship."

But it looks like the aura has changed after the Ayodhya verdict was out and the disputed land was given to the Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas to build the temple.

After the verdict, Congress' statements are contradictory to their earlier opinions.

Randeep Surejewala, Congress spokesperson went on to say that Lord Ram can never be a dividing factor and that the party welcomes the verdict of the Supreme Court. Lord Ram is the symbol of sacrifice, mercy, love and fraternity.
