The Youth Congress has called for a state-wide dawn-to-dusk hartal on Monday to protest against the murder of two of its workers in Kasargod district

 

The victims were hacked by a group of persons that came in a car. Kripesh died on the way to the hospital and Sarath passed away on his way to Mangalore.

Sarath Lal (21) and Kripesh (19) — two Youth Congress workers — were hacked to death on February 17 when they were returning on a two-wheeler from a function. According to reports, a car-borne gang attacked them at Periya near Kasaragod.
