On December 18, the temperature in Hyderabad dropped from 27 degree Celsius to 13 degree Celsius.

The Regional Meteorological Centre, Chennai, has predicted a cyclone hit in northern parts of Tamil Nadu due to depression in the Andaman Sea. Fishermen have been asked to stay away from the sea with special weather warning.

The officials have said that the state will receive heavy rains for four to five days, but the extent of rain is said to decrease in the third week of October.
