In the 2014 general election, a 79.88% voter turnout was recorded in Assam, while 78.61% was recorded in Arunachal Pradesh, 79.62% in Manipur, 68.79% in Meghalaya, 61.69% in Mizoram, 87.82% in Nagaland and 84.72% in Tripura.

With all the statistics it is expected that the 2019 General Election might become the election of women for India. 

Voters from Maoist affected regions of Telangana actively participated in the elections with the poll turnouts at 60% in most of these areas.
