Embattled Liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya on Monday lost his High Court appeal against his extradition order to India in relation to charges of fraud and money laundering amounting to an alleged Rs 9,000 crores.

The UK high court on Thursday (July 18) called for a hearing of Vijay Mallya’s appeal against extradition on February 11, 2020.

A two-member bench of the Royal Courts of Justice ruled that the 63-year-old Vijay Mallya was permitted to appeal on only one limited ground
