Delhi University invites applications for the Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme 2024-25, offering students practical experience and a monthly stipend of Rs 5,500. Interested students can apply until September 20, 2024.

Dr Shishir Kumar Pandey completed his education from government schools and local universities, and today he serves as the Vice Chancellor of Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Divyang State University, Chitrakoot. For a brief period, he was also a representative of the Indian embassy in Russia and gave lectures at various Russian universities and inaugurated events related to Indian cultures.

The highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of the best delegates, high commendation, honorable mention, special mention, and verbal mention from different committees. The chief guest and other dignitaries felicitated the winners and key student team members in the ceremony.

Abhinav Kumar a small village boy from Bihar’s Madhubani district was awarded vice-chancellor’s gold medal in the convocation ceremony of MNLU Mumbai. This award was conferred by the  Chancellor of the University Hon'ble Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Judge Supreme Court of India in the function held at Maharashtra Judicial Academy, Mumbai.

Female students of JNU took to streets in protest over the violence in campus on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. While protesters demanded for the resignation of the JNU vice chancellor, the former urged the students to leave the past behind and return to classes.
