New Delhi: Cyclone Vayu is expected to hit India’s western coast soon and Gujarat has been put on high alert. Cyclone Vayu has been classified under category 2 cyclone by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The department also said that the Cyclone is very likely to cross the Gujarat coast between Veraval and Diu by early morning on June 13. IMD also said the Cyclone would hit the regions of Saurashtra and Kutch in Gujarat with winds blowing at speeds of 145 kmph to 170 kmph by Thursday morning.
