Vasundhara Raje  

Vasundhara Raje is an Indian politician. She is a member of Bharatiya Janta Party. In the year 1985, she was appointed as the Vice President of the Youth Front of BJP in Rajasthan. Vasundhara Raje became the first woman Chief Minister of Rajasthan in December 2003.

Polling began in 17 seats in Maharashtra, 13 each in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, eight in West Bengal, six each in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha, five in Bihar, three in Jharkhand and a part of the Anantnag constituency in Jammu and Kashmir

According to the transfer list issued by the state government on Tuesday night, powerful babus of the previous regime were sidelined, especially Tanmay Kumar, who was the principal secretary to Vasundhara Raje. Kumar was shunted out to Bikaner as irrigation commissioner
