Typhoon  

Hello and welcome to this episode of DePress Room, my name is Amal Chowdhury and today we will be talking about the deadly typhoon Phanfone which wreaked havoc in the Philippines. A typhoon that lashed the central Philippines on Christmas Day has killed at least 21 people and caused damage to homes and tourist areas.

Lekima, the ninth typhoon, hit Wenling city on Saturday afternoon, packing winds of 187 kilometers per hour and bringing heavy rainstorms. It has left 45 people dead and 16 missing in three Chinese provinces.
 

Fani, to be more precise, is a tropical storm, consisting of a large scale air mass rotating around a strong centre of low atmospheric pressure.

Twitter users who attacked Rahul Gandhi and his Congress with the hashtag on Tuesday insinuated that the president of the oldest party was making so much of noise over the Rafale deal at the behest of Dassault Aviation's competitor, the European Consortium that makes Eurofighter Typhoon

The tradition started with naming Cyclones arising from Atlantic Ocean with wind speeds of more than 39 miles per hour. The storm is iconsidered a hurricane in the Atlantic, a typhoon in the Pacific and a cyclone in the Indian Ocean.
