BJP supporters were seen shouting slogans demanding Central paramilitary forces at the polling station in Jemua area of Asansol Parliamentary constituency. BJP supporters had stopped the polling process but even as central forces were reinstated, the BJP supporters continued shouting slogans.

BJP alleges it was the hand work of TMC cadres who not only use filthy language against Supriyo but manage two smash his car in spite of heavy deployment of security. 
 

On Monday, a total of 16,14,917 voters will cast their votes to choose their candidates in Asansol. The main fight in Asansol is expected between two major political parties BJP's Babul Supriyo and TMC's MoonMoon Sen. However, a total of 10 candidates from different political parties are contesting in this election from the region.

Earlier, Trinamool's Dinesh Trivedi had lodged a complaint with the Election Commission, taking strong exception to the fact that "BJP" was written under its symbol.

Turning the heat on West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, her counterpart in Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb campaigned widely in Bengal for the BJP on Thursday.
