PM Modi paid a visit to Sri Lanka post the Easter bombings in the country. While returning to New Delhi, he stopped by in Andhra Pradesh and spent time at Tirupati Tirumala temple and offered his prayers to Lord Venkateshwara.

 

Before heading to New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a brief stop in Andhra Pradesh to seek blessings of Lord Venkateshwara and also addressed a massive gathering organised by BJP leaders in the state

The deceased are identified as Vijaya Bharati (38), Prasanna (14), Chenna Kesava Reddy (12), Driver Prem Raju (35) and Ankayya (40), residents of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Three months after three crowns in Tirupati went missing, the police have cracked the case and recovered the missing jewellery, in molten state. The accused, who was caught a month ago, had melted the gold and was looking to sell it.

 

Days after loads of gold and other precious metals were recovered from trucks that were enroute to Tirpuati temple, the Andhra Pradesh government has ordered an inquiry into the alleged unauthorised transportation of valuables.

After three crowns from the Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati went missing, two months ago, the police have now arrested the culprit. The jeweller to whom the crowns were pledged, has also been taken into custody
