Advocate Avi Singh, appearing for Tihar Jail this week, has said that the unequal treatments are continuing and other inmates have also started demanding the same provisions. 

Malik, chief of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), was arrested in the crackdown after the Pulwama terror attack in which over 40 CRPF jawans had been killed in an IED blast.

 

 

Malik was shifted from the Jammu jail to the high security part of Tihar jail in Delhi on Tuesday after NIA secured a production warrant against him in connection with a terror and separatism funding case. Intelligence sources say he could be behind RSS man Chandrakant Sharma's killing

According to the sources, after he complained multiple times for his isolated cell, now he has been allowed to meet two-three inmates in the jail. 

The letter, which was signed off by Akram Khan, mentioned how the inmates were feeling helpless as they were unable to serve the nation. The letter also talked about their wish to take revenge on Pakistan for Pulwama attack.

Agusta middleman Christian Michel, arrested in the Rs 3,600 crore VVIP chopper deal case, moved a Delhi court on Friday seeking to be lodged in a separate cell in Tihar Jail.

Kiran Bedi recalled the reforms she effected in Tihar jail in Delhi and improved the standard of literacy of prisoners as she spoke about implementing the 'University Social Responsibility' scheme. 
 

Leena Maria Paul was an accused in a bank fraud case and was associated with alleged con man Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is currently in Tihar jail.
