Kerala Police have summoned Franco Mulakkal asking him to appear before the Kottayam district addition court on November 11, when the hearing is set to begin. The nun has written to Kerala Women’s Commission accusing him of mental harassment.
 

The Pala judicial first class magistrate court committed the Kerala nun rape case to the Kottayam principal sessions court to commence trial. The principal sessions court can either hear the nun rape case directly or it can transfer it to any of the additional district courts. 

The letter says that the nuns are receiving regular death threats and the Kerala government should block the transfer of nuns.  The four nuns received the order from Superior General Regina, transferring them to separate locations.
 

The nuns from Kottayam Kuravilangadu seminary protested after Jalandhar Bishop Franco Mulakkal was accused of raping a nun on multiple occasions between 2014 and 2016. As per reports, the four nuns got the order from Mother General, transferring them to different places.

 

The notice says that the nun's involvement on social media cannot be appreciated. Though several chances were given to her for correcting her mistakes, sister Lucy was not ready for it, say church authorities.

The senior Catholic priest is facing allegations of raping the nun repeatedly between 2014 and 2016 and was arrested in Tripunithura on September 21 after three days of questioning. 

The nun, who was allegedly abused by Jalandhar bishop Franco Mulakkal, on Tuesday, lodged a complaint against Kerala MLA PC George for using vulgar terms (prostitute) against her at a press conference recently.

Former Jalandhar Bishop Franco Mulakkal has alleged that the nun, who accused him of sexual abuse had some bad intentions. He said that he is innocent to the investigation team.

Bishop Franco Mulakkal, who is the accused in the nun rape case, will be questioned at Thripunithura SP Office, Kerala. Five cameras have been installed in different corners in the room where the interrogation will take place.

Bishop said the nun had a personal resentment towards him in the anticipatory bail plea prepared to submit at the high court in Kerala.
