Minister for IT and municipal administration in K Chandrashekar Rao's caretaker government, KT Rama Rao, filed his nomination in a low-key affair from Sircilla, Telangana.

Abid Rasool Khan said the Congress nominated only four Muslim candidates for the upcoming Telangana election and alleged that the party did not work for the welfare of the minority community

When asked if TRS will be BJP's ally, TRS leader KT Rama Rao said, "Absolutely not, because BJP and we don't see eye to eye on a number of counts, we have a very strong difference of opinion."
 

The people of Telangana are looking for a credible alternative to the "corrupt and incompetent duopoly" of the Telangana Rashtra Samit(TRS) and the Congress, Delhi MLA Somnath Bharti if AAP said at a press conference.
