Many celebrities, including Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni, have invested in startups like Spinny and CARS24, now thriving as billion-dollar enterprises.

After completing his BTech in 2003, Amit Singh began his career as a network engineer at Reliance Infocom with a salary of Rs 8,500. He held different positions throughout his corporate career and eventually decided to launch his own startup.

Mahanaaryaman Rao Scindia is the son of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. He embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in the year 2022.

Pranjali Awasthi is a 16-year-old tech genius who built her own AI startup at such a young age. Her company has a team of 10 employees and is valued at over Rs 100 crore. 

Aryan and Ayush co-founded the tech startup Induced AI, which secured $2.3 million of funding from its seed round in October in 2023. The startup successfully attracted investors such as Sam Altman, Peak, SV Angel, and XV. 

Ravi Prasad sources banana trees from nearby farmers for his handicraft business. To date, he has provided training to 700 women in the art of crafting banana fibre products. On average, his business generates sales of approximately Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh per month.

Nadeem was operating his restaurant business well until the pandemic hit the world. The lockdown made it difficult to attract customers and bearing the household responsibilities became troublesome. He tried his luck one last time before giving up and established a kebab selling business.

Gujarat’s Neha Bhatt runs a tea startup with the name ‘Ampu Tea Neha.’ In July 2021, Neha met with an accident. Her left side of the body was damaged and due to a delay in treatment, she had to undergo amputation, losing one of her legs. She sells almost 300 cups of tea daily and earns somewhere around Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh in a month.  

Indore’s Nikunj Sharma launched his tea business in Gorakhpur. Initially, he found it difficult to open a single outlet in the city but with the kindness of other people, he successfully launched his business. Today, Nikunj operates seven outlets in different cities and provides employment to people with disabilities.

Jetaram Chaudhary grew up in a life of poverty, and despite all the challenges he faced, he established a company worth Rs 215 crore. Services like KYC, bill payments, money transfer, mini-ATM, ticket booking, e-Mitra are provided on the platform.

Rajan Singh is an IIT Kanpur alumnus, who cleared UPSC exams and worked as an IPS officer in Kerala for eight years. After a few years of service, he resigned from the post and pursued MBA. Today, he is a successful entrepreneur who runs his own e-learning platforms.
