Nearly 27,000 families in Kochi are still waiting to receive flood relief from the state government. Many among the victims reached the collectorate's office to inquire about this issue.

In 2005, the state government took up a project which would have seen the building of a golden chariot for the Kukke Subrahmanya temple. The chariot which would have cost Rs 15 crore to build then comes at a cost of Rs 80 crore considering the prevailing gold price.

Karnataka state BJP president Yeddyurappa has urged the Election Commission not to relax its model code of conduct.  The development comes nearly two months after Tamil Nadu Information Technology minister M Manikandan said the state government will seek Centre’s help to ban TikTok.

After over 200 farmers filed nominations against K Kavitha alleging that the state government has not kept promises, Kavitha has responded saying the TRS has worked towards the issues of farmers but the BJP has not done much.
