Srijit Mukherjee's film Gumnaami has already raked up controversies for delving into theories over Bose's 'disappearance'

Gumnaami, which got the CBFC clearance in the last week of August, will hit the screens on October 4.

The second installation -- 'Dwitiyo Purush' -- will take off from where the original concluded, Mukherji said, announcing the film on the 78th death anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.

Actor Sohini Sarkar has been roped in to play the role of Barman in the yet-to-be-titled film, Mukherji told reporters here.

The national award-winning director stressed that he has put equal emphasis on all key characters in the fiction, unlike the 1968 film based on the same novel with matinee idol Uttam Kumar in the lead.
