Siddaganga Mutt Seer  

Youths from Bengaluru kickstarted a signature campaign to pressurise the Centre to award the Bharat Ratna to Tumakuru's Siddaganga mutt seer, Shivakumara Swamiji. 
 

Heavy barricading has been put in place and the Tumakuru DC said that security arrangements have been made as VIPs are visiting the Siddaganga Mutt and hospital. He also said that the seer was fine and the public can visit him

Yeddyurappa clarified that the BJP MLAs had gathered together to discuss strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha election and that everything else was a rumour. He blamed that the chief minister had offered the BJP MLAs ministry and money.

Kumaraswamy addressed the media after visiting the Siddaganga Mutt seer and expressed his concerns towards the seer's current illness
