Security across the entire shoreline in Tamil Nadu has been tightened in preparation for the arrival of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Armed guards posted at all possible landing points on the shoreline

Ahead of the informal summit between PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping, security has been tightened in the heritage town of Mahabalipuram. Xi will arrive at the Chennai International Airport on Friday afternoon, while the Indian Prime Minister will reach the city shortly before noon.
