The Ranni court order came in reply to the application filed by the Kerala Police, saying that the Sabarimala activist Rahul Easwar was not obeying bail conditions and hence his bail may be cancelled

The Kerala high court granted bail to activist and model Rehana Fathima Pyarijaan Sulaiman. Fathima, an activist who tried to enter the Sabarimala temple, was arrested for hurting religious sentiments of Ayyappa devotees.

Activist Rehana Fathima was arrested under IPC 295 A. She was arrested on November 27 by a team led by Pathanamthitta circle inspector for hurting religious sentiments of Ayyappa devotees.
 

The BJP called for a hartal in the states’ capital from 6am to 6pm to protest the actions of Kerala police over the Sabarimala row. The protestors demand was that the government mediate to end the indefinite fast by the BJP leader AN Radhakrishnan in front of the secretariat.

Reports also said that three UDF leaders are on hunger strike demanding the withdrawal of Section 144. On November 27, the UDF announced that they would continue to protest within and outside the Kerala Assembly until Section 144 is lifted.

The court also advised K Surendran that he should not be involved in other similar offences later. Surendran submitted his passport to the court and also furnished a bond of Rs 2 lakh. Surendran was granted bail in all other cases too.

Earlier, around 15 women tried to enter the Sabarimala temple, but none of them could reach the Sannidhanam. Most of them returned after protests from devotees
 

This comes in the wake of the petition filed by Kannur native Reshma. She complained that she was not able to visit Sabarimala temple after waiting for days observing the 41-day penance.

Kerala Assembly was adjourned for the fourth consecutive day due to Sabarimala row. The opposition parties' MLAs began an indefinite hunger strike in front of the secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram against the government’s stand to not discuss the temple issue in the Assembly

The opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala alleged that the Left government, the RSS and the BJP are trying to sabotage the Sabarimala pilgrimage. The opposition alleged that the government was using the police force to control the devotees at the famous shrine.
