The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that it cannot hear all 55 review petitioners in the Sabarimala temple case, and will restrict itself to eight to nine petitioners

A total of 49 review petitions have been brought before the Supreme Court. The petitioners have also said that the Sabarimala verdict has "legal errors" and the assumption of the temple practice being based on notions of menstrual impurity is 'factually erroneous'.
