Red Line  

Japanese ambassador to India Satoshi Suzuki took a metro rice in Delhi from Central Secretariat to Chawri Bazaar. The Delhi Metro began its first services on Shahdara-Tis Hazari corridor of Red Line in December 2002.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) officials said the incident took place early morning at Welcome Metro Station on the Red Line and led to disruption of services for about an hour

With this new section, the Delhi Metro will foray into the interiors of Ghaziabad for the first time, touching the industrial areas in twin cities of Ghaziabad and Sahibabad

The main highlight of this section is the presence of three interchange stations  — Anand Vihar (with Blue Line), Karkardooma (with Blue Line) and Welcome (with Red Line)
