Ramakrishna Mission  

Arpan Banerjee is a resident of Karimnagar, West Bengal. For the last two decades, he has dedicated his life to the underprivileged people and assists then in orphanages and elderly care homes. He provides essential items such as food, clothing, and blankets to those in need.

With a view to bring more awareness on the issue and educate people, the Mangaluru police (Karnataka), in association with Ramakrishna Mission authorities, have launched a unique campaign. 

One of the most prominent religious figures of India during the nineteenth century, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa was a mystic and a yogi, who was a key figure in revival of Hinduism in Bengal at a time when intense spiritual crisis was gripping the province. His legacy did not end with his death as his most prominent disciple Swami Vivekananda carried on his teachings and philosophy to the world through Ramakrishna Mission.
