Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (August 25) addressed the nation through his monthly programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ that was aired on All India Radio (AIR) and other platforms

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's will be addressing the nation in his "Mann Ki Baat" on August 25 on All India Radio, DD National, DD News and DD Bharti.

In a first, the All India Radio (AIR), translated and broadcast Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech in 15 foreign languages.  The speech was also made available on its website in Japanese, German and Spanish.

President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday (August 14) addressed the nation through All India Radio on the eve of Independence Day.

Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not make an announcement of any new policy decision, which is prohibited at the time when the model code is in vogue.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the 53rd episode of his radio programme by paying tribute to the martyrs of the Pulwama attack. He also expressed immense happiness for the 12 farmers who have been honoured with the Padma Shri award this year.
