Karnataka BJP leaders including Shobha Karandlaje raised their voice against Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan highlighting his 'cruelty towards Ayyappa devotes in the protest'. 

Muniyappan was released from jail under Tamil Nadu government's premature release scheme. Muniyappan, along with two others, torched the bus in protest against the Supreme Court verdict in 2000.

Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy had questioned a farmer woman asking, 'Where were you sleeping these four years?” A complaint has been filed against him for this statement that has drawn flak from farmers and BJP.
 

Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has but received support from G Parameshwara, the deputy chief minister who, pacified the farmers. Parameshwara said that the state government would do everything in its capacity to help the farmers.

Ahead of International Men's Day, Save Indian Family Foundation (SIFF) and Children's Rights Initiative for Shared Parenting (CRISP) held a protest at Town Hall, Bengaluru fighting against institutionalised discrimination and lack of protection for men in India.
