The 57-year-old actor, Prosenjit Chatterjee who has worked across different languages since his debut as a child actor in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's "Chotto Jigyasa", said cinema is his life.

Prosenjit Chatterjee told on that he is very happy to work with a brilliant actress like Ahsan for the first time.

Filmmaker Aparna Sen, too, opted out of the panel citing other engagements. Chatterjee, however, clarified that he would "extend all possible help to the committee" as and when required.
 

On the reason behind choosing food-themed films, Chatterjee said, "We Bengalis are stereotyped as gastronomes. But somehow we didnt have enough of food films in Bengali."
