Prohibitory Orders  

Amid protests across India over the amended Citizenship law, a group of social activists and citizens on December 22 organised a pro-CAA rally in Bengaluru after prohibitory orders were lifted.

Jitendra Singh, Union minister, is the first to speak on how long Jammu and Kashmir leaders could remain under detention post the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A. Prohibitory orders are still in place in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Pathanamthitta collector PB Nooh has issued prohibitory orders at places like Pampa, Elavunkal and Sannidhanam till November 6.

Following the killings, the police had announced a curfew in Kishtwar, Doda and Baderwah, besides imposing prohibitory orders, banning assembly of more than four people in Ramban, Banihal, Poonch, Kathua, Rajouri and upper reaches of Gool Gulabgarh.
