Price Hike  

AAP leader slapped a protester who shouted petrol price must increase during Bharat Bandh held in Belagavi, Karnataka.

Prakash, former president of Balehonnur taluk panchayat, attacked the shopkeeper for not shutting down the shop. Congress called for bandh to protest against petrol price hike. This entire act was recorded on CCTV placed inside the shop.

With no proper plan in place and the burden of loan falling on BJP's shoulder, this problem has risen. And Congress is responsible for all this, said Tamil Nadu BJP president Tamilisai Sounderarajan.

Congress has called for a bandh protesting against prices of diesel, petrol, the deteriorating value of Indian currency, and for the formation of a joint party committee to scrutinise the alleged irregularities in the Rafale deal.

HD Deve Gowda and Karnataka's chief minister HD Kumaraswamy will be leaving for Delhi to discuss the increase in fuel price.
