It’s a happy ending as two prominent men, BJP MP Pratap Simha and actor Prakash Raj have struck truce over the issue of derogatory remarks by the MP as the MP has apologised to him.

BJP MP from Mysore Pratap Simha said that former PM Indira Gandhi was the reason why there are English and Hindi writings on boards in national highways and trains.  

Pratap Simha, the BJP MP from Mysuru lashed out at Karnataka home minister MB Patil for allegedly using police force to drive home vendetta politics. The criticism comes in the wake of senior journalist SA Hemanth Kumar being arrested over fake letter row related to the separate religion for Lingayats.

While the Congress-JD(S) coalition in Karnataka is yet to pick its candidate from Mysuru-Kodagu region, the BJP has problems of its own as it has to choose between the tried and tested Pratap Simha and Kodava leader Appachu Ranjan. 

BJP MP Prathap Simha's reply to chief minister Kumaraswamy's questions regarding Yeddyurappa's property is a must-watch. Karnataka netas fight it out just before the by-election scheduled for November 3.
