Practice Session  

The Indian hockey players and support staff are taking all the necessary precautions at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) facility in Bengaluru. The campus is well-equipped for regular practice sessions and no unauthorised persons are allowed to enter the premises

The West Indies team was initially scheduled to reach India on September 10 but landed here only last Wednesday ahead of their tour that includes two Tests, five ODIs and three T20Is, thus not having adequate time to prepare before the match.

'We will work on it in our next practice session. It's a good win but to win against India we have to be at our best in all the three departments,' Sarfraz Ahmed said

'Not everywhere do you get quality net bowlers and it becomes a problem for the senior team during practice sessions. With back to back games, you don't expect a Bhuvneshwar Kumar or a Jasprit Bumrah to bowl flat out at the nets,' BCCI official said
