Kunwer Sachdev, the founder of Su-Kam company, began his journey with hardships but he never gave up. He sold pens door to door and in buses to support his education expenses. Kunwer Sachdev made the decision to leave his job and established Su-Kam Communication System. The company is valued at Rs 2300 crore.

Ruma Devi had to discontinue her studies after class 8 due to extreme poverty. She continued the tradition of embroidery that she acquired from her grandmother and established her creative business. Ruma Devi has employed over 22,000 women across 75 villages. She received a special invitation from Harvard University where she engaged in discussions with around a thousand academics, students, and entrepreneurs.

Jagdish Chand Chaudhry, the founder of Aakash Institute, climbed up the ladder of success with his belief in numerology. His early years were spent in poverty and today he is considered one of the most powerful ed-tech giants in India.

Chandresh Bayad had a difficult childhood and despite everything, he single-handedly worked towards making his life better. He received education from Cyprus and returned to India to establish his own tea business. Today, he operates 75 outlets across the country and plans to expand his business to the US, UK and Thailand.

Balwant Parekh studied law with no intention of becoming a lawyer. He had better plans of bringing his life of poverty to an end. With his unmatched ability to work professionally with German companies, he established Pidilite and became the Fevicol man.

Chef Zulfiqar Hussain is a famous chef from Lucknow. His father used to work in the railways. The family faced financial difficulties and lived in a small house.  Zulfiqar received his education through a scholarship. He gained valuable experience working with some of the world’s leading chefs in Dubai. After returning to Lucknow, he became a consultant for approximately 30 to 35 hotels, restaurants, and clubs. In 2018, he established his own company.

Jetaram Chaudhary grew up in a life of poverty, and despite all the challenges he faced, he established a company worth Rs 215 crore. Services like KYC, bill payments, money transfer, mini-ATM, ticket booking, e-Mitra are provided on the platform.

Dattu Agarwal grew up in a life of poverty. At the tender age of 3, he became a victim of blindness. Despite all the challenges, Dattu Agarwal studied till post-graduation and then became a lecturer of Political Science. In memory of his mother, he established a residential school for blind girls where he provides free education. 
 

Ashok Khade spent his early years in poverty. His first job was as a trainee with a monthly salary of Rs 90. After a few years, he secured a permanent position as a draftsman. Ashok travelled to Germany on behalf of his company to further enhance his knowledge of advanced technology. Ashok returned to India with immense knowledge about technological advancements and established his own business along with his brother. 
 

Dattu Aggarwal grew up in a life of poverty. At the tender age of 5, he became a victim of blindness. Despite all the challenges, Dattu Aggarwal studied till post-graduation and then became a lecturer of Political Science. In memory of his mother, he established a residential school for blind girls where he provides free education.

Ram Bhajan’s journey is one of determination and perseverance. He worked at construction sites with his mother and earned Rs 10 as a daily wage. Despite all the challenges, he completed his education by taking an education loan. He was working as a head constable in Delhi Police when he appeared for UPSC exam. He passed UPSC 2022 and secured a position in Indian Audit and Accounts Service.

Misbah’s father works at a puncture shop. Misbah continued with her studies despite all the problems and achieved great results at NEET examination. She secured 86 percent in grade 12 and 633 marks in NEET results.

Colonel Vembu Shankar retired from his 20 years of service to run his campaign ‘Project Sambandh’, where he works to establish a connection between the families of the martyrs and the government. Many families continue to live in poverty as they are not aware about the government schemes that are there specifically for them. Colonel Shankar wishes to spread an awareness regarding the same.

Kalpana grew up in a life of poverty. Her father did the grave mistake of marrying her into the wrong family. She suffered from domestic violence; the trauma of the torture was unbearable and she tried to take her own life. Her life was saved, and her father motivated her to find a purpose. Today, Kalpana runs multiple companies with a turnover of 3000 crore.

Ashok Khade’s first salary was Rs. 90 per month. Leaving the life of poverty behind, he is now a billionaire with thousands of people working for his company.
