Wazirpur recorded 'severe' air quality, while 34 other areas recorded 'very poor' air quality, according to the CPCB data. The PM2.5 level was recorded at 175

Imran Hussain, Delhi environment minister stated that 44 joint teams are appointed to curb air pollution. Other agencies are instructed to work for the same. 

The air quality in the area is expected to reach its worst because of toxic fumes from stubble burning in parts of Punjab and Haryana that are expected to gush into Delhi, coupled with Diwali and other seasonal factors.

Questioning the education system of the country, BJP lawmaker Varun Gandhi gave examples of schools in Uttar Pradesh. He also described the increasing pollution in the country as "dangerous".
