Police Custody  

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening just a couple of minutes before the accused, Nawaz, was to be transported and produced before court. He was found dead in the bathroom of the police station.

According to the police media spokesperson, three were produced at a court and the other three are in police custody where they are further investigating.

Two among the four-member team who abducted a girl from Oachira are in police custody. Among the other two who are absconding, is son of CPI(M) leader, Navas Muhammed, who has vowed that he would not save his son if he is found guilty.

The Crime Branch - Crime Investigation Department (CB-CID) will grill prime accused in the Pollachi sexual assault case, Thirunavukkarasu. The Tamil Nadu government transferred the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

 

The accused, Mahesh is now in police custody in Karnataka's Chintamani district. Since the two victims were unable to repay the money they borrowed, Mahesh attacked them.

Janardhan Reddy is being produced before the magistrate and cops are not sure if he will be handed over to them or to the judicial custody. But Reddy's close aide Ali Khan is not likely to be arrested because he has obtained bail through sessions court.
