On Friday, one person died, and six were hospitalised after consuming prasad prepared for puja at the Ganga Bhavani temple in Chintamani in Chikkaballapur district in Karnataka.

The victim as well as those who fell ill are from the same family. They were offered the prasad at a temple in Kolar district, Karnataka
