Skyroot Aerospace, an Indian space company, has launched the Kalpana Fellowship. This initiative offers fellowship opportunities to women who wish to pursue a career in the space industry.

Sharad Patel is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Studies at the Shakuntala Mishra Rehabilitation Government School. His research focuses on the plight of beggars. At the shelter homes, Sharad conducts skill mapping of the beggars to understand their previous occupations. To date, he has facilitated the self-reliance of 450 beggars.
