Petrol Prices  

Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Puri, declared on March 14^th that the Central Government has reduced petrol and diesel prices by Rs 2 nationwide. The prices have come in effect at 6 am today.

Petrol prices have been cut by more than Rs 5.49 per litre and diesel by Rs 3.82 in the past one month in Mumbai.

In the last 7 days, petrol prices have been cut by Rs 1.58 in Delhi, Rs 1.55 in Kolkata, Rs 1.56 in Mumbai and Rs 1.66 in Chennai

The government revised the prices last week. After the revision, petrol is being sold at Rs 82.48 per litre, while diesel rates have escalated to Rs 74.90 in the national capital.
