The Board of Cricket Control in India took to Twitter today condoling the demise of the 87-year-old superfan. Charulata Patel stole the limelight during India's match against Bangladesh at the World Cup in Edgbaston last year when she was seen cheering for Virat Kohli's team with a horn and the tri-colour painted on her face. She immediately caught the attention of the internet as fans, commentators and the whole cricketing fraternity praised her energy and her pictures went viral on social media.
