Hannah Beachler, the Marvel film's production designer, was honoured with set decorator Jay Hart.

The band, which was honouring Best Picture nominee Bohemian Rhapsody, performed with two of the four original members -- guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor.

The 48-year-old actor was emotional as she walked up to the stage to receive her first Oscar award. She paid tribute to Baldwin's writing, calling him "the greatest artist of our time." 
 

The multi-Academy award-winning film also brought Kapoor critical acclaim from across the world for his flamboyant and nuanced portrayal of game show host Prem Kumar.

The nominees for the 91st annual Academy Awards were announced on Tuesday by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, California. 

A film on menstruation, set in rural India, titled Period. End of Sentence , has earned a nomination in the Documentary Short Subject category for the 91st Academy Awards.

India's official entry to the Oscars 2019, Village Rockstars, has not made it to the final shortlist. 

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan starrer Doob (No Bed of Roses) is Bangladesh's official entry for the Oscars next year. Doob courted controversy in the wake of reports that it was loosely based on late Bangladeshi writer and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed.
