Nirbhaya  

Neeraj Kumar was the Delhi Police chief during the Nirbhaya gangrape in December, 2012. He faced flak for the way the Delhi Police handled the case. 

A rifle made in Tamil Nadu’s Trichy, which is reportedly on par with the AK-47 and Nirbheek, a light-weight revolver designed for women, after the Nirbhaya episode shook the entire nation, drew everyone’s attention at the Aero India 2019  

The incident triggered outrage and protests not only across the country but the world as well, and she subsequently came to be known as 'Nirbhaya,' the fearless.

Earlier in 2013, the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development introduced its helpline number after the Nirbhaya incident occurred in Delhi

Karnataka: Those indulging in public nuisance were picked up from bus stop, railway station, petty shops and other locations and taken into custody by 11 teams of the Kalaburgi police.
