National Youth Parliament Festival is organized as part of celebrations on the National Youth Day which is observed to commemorate Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary

On the occasion of National Youth Day (January 12) BJP Rajya MP Subramanian Swamy stressed the need for the youth to imbibe traits such as courage and fearlessness from the monk and also the need to formalise his thoughts into our education system.
