Led by senior BJP leader Jagadish Shettar, a BJP delegation left for New Delhi last night (July 24) and is camping there to meet national president Amit Shan and working president JP Nadda to apprise them of the prospect of forming a government in Karnataka.

Pramod Sawant arrived in the national capital with the 10 MLAs and has been meeting senior BJP leaders, including its working president J P Nadda.

PM Modi was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working president JP Nadda and the state unit chief of the saffron party, Mahendra Nath Pandey.

Nadda was addressing party workers at the BJP headquarters after arriving in Lucknow where he thanked them for their work that converted to votes in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls.
 

"People gave an obvious verdict to think that things have to be changed. This is the reason I have taken the decision to join the BJP," TDP national spokesperson Lanka Dinakar said

Speaking to reporters, BJP working president JP Nadda said, “I assure them (the TDP MPs) that the party believes in politics of positivity and inclusiveness.”

While most of the names and faces remained the same as last time, the high-profile omissions were also apparent through their absence from the council of ministers
