Following the Supreme Court order, Karnataka's rebel MLAs on Thursday (July 11) came down to Bengaluru from Mumbai to submit fresh resignation letters to Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar in Vidhana Soudha. The Speaker sought time to verify them, which may take a week or even a month.

Sakshi Misra, 23, daughter of Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Rajesh Misra, in her video, said she has taken her decision to marry a Dalit and wants to live in peace 

Pramod Sawant arrived in the national capital with the 10 MLAs and has been meeting senior BJP leaders, including its working president J P Nadda.

Supreme Court has asked the 10 rebel MLAs, lodged in Mumbai resort, to meet Karnataka Speaker by 6 pm today. It has also directed Speaker Ramesh Kumar to decide on the resignation letters today itself.
