Bollywood actor Aamir Khan congratulates Vinesh Phogat after she became the first Indian woman wrestler to win a gold medal in Asian Games in the 50 kg category. 

Vinesh Phogat suffered an intense knee injury two years back, which paved her way out of the Rio games, 2016 by cutting her campaign short. What followed later is no less than an inspiring story, which can be a huge hit if made into a flick. 

Among the women, Olympic medallist PV Sindhu was the only one who won for India. HS Prannoy won the only match for the country in the men's quarter-finals
 

Apart from Vinesh's gold, India also won two silver medals thanks to Lakshay Sheoran and Deepak Kumar. Sheoran won silver in men's trap event. 

While Indian swimmer Sajan Prakash's family is stuck in flood-hit Kerala, he nearly misses medal to the country. He finished in the fifth place in the 200m butterfly men.

Twenty-year-old Sheoran shot a total of 43 points to take silver while Taipei’s Kunpi Yang won the gold medal with 48 points in Palembang
