Martyr  

Vasanthakumar, a native of Wayanad, Kerala, was 82nd battalion member of the CRPF. He had 18 years of service and had only two more years remaining to retire. 
 

Guru for Karnataka's Mandya district was a member of the 82nd battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). He is, unfortunately, one of the 39 jawans, who lost their lives in the suicide attack at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. 

Citizens across the country condemn the barbaric terror attack on the CRPF personnel at Pulwama. The nation prays for the speedy recovery of the injured and stands with the families of the martyrs through candle light vigils.
