A woman carrying Rs 31 lakh and 1 kg of gold was caught at the Chennai airport. The woman was trying to smuggle cash and gold into Malaysia

In a span of just a day, the customs officials in Chennai have seized Rs. 1.37 crore in cash of different currencies and also exotic animals. The animals had been smuggled from Thailand and the currencies had been smuggled from Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
