The new Christian face of BJP hailing from Kerala, Tom Vadakkan, spoke his heart out on the issue of Sabarimala. Vadakkan didn’t mince his words in supporting tradition over the court ban and said when the state or the court intervene beliefs, ‘it can be questioned’.

Puja for Lord Ayyappa was conducted inside Qasim Ali Dargah and prasadam was distributed to Ayyappa devotees and people after worship in Gadag.

The 36-year-old Manju entered the Sabarimala temple on January 8. She entered the shrine alone and had the darshan of Lord Ayyappa at 7:30 pm on Tuesday

Sasikala, a woman from Sri Lanka, came with ‘Guruswami’ to Sabarimala and had the darshan of Lord Ayyappa at 10.46 PM on Thursday.  The Kerala Police revealed this and they released the CCTV footage of the Sannidhanam. It is alleged that this was a police trap to send Sasikala back safely.

Retired Justices S Siri Jagan and PR Raman, appointed by the Kerala high court, investigated the matter and found that there were no issues with transwomen visiting Sabarimala.

Harivarasanam is known as the lullaby to Lord Ayyappa. The song was actually sung in the Sabarimala temple. Later, it was decided that the song should be recorded and played in the temple premises.

S Sreejith broke down in front of Lord Ayyappa at Sabarimala on October 22. A photograph capturing his emotion had gone viral. Following the controversy of the Kerala government appointing an Ayyappa devotee cop, he was relieved from Sabarimala duty.
