In a unanimous verdict, the Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has held that Hindus would get the disputed land in Ayodhya while the Muslims would be given an alternate land of five acres for a mosque. The Supreme Court on Saturday directed the Centre to give five acres of suitable land to Sunni Waqf Board and at the same time make necessary arrangements for the construction of the temple by forming a trust.
