Kulgam Encounter  

The bodies of the terrorists have been recovered from the encounter spot in Nipora area of Kulgam district, according to officials

According to the officials, the operation started on Tuesday evening after they received specific input about terrorists hiding in Tazipora village of Kulgam district. 

According to the security forces, the exchange of gunfire in Kulgam is still on and it is believed that three militants are trapped in the area. Sources claim that they have successfully neutralised one of the terrorists but his identity is yet to be ascertained. 

Recently, the photograph of the Ph.D. scholar-turned-militant Waseem Ahmad Rather went viral on social media with a message asking young people to the banned terror outfits and fight against the army

At least four militants got trapped after security forces cordoned the Kellem village in Kulgam district. As a retaliation, the militants started heavy firing on the forces.
