Malayalam, the mother tongue of Keralites, is widely considered the hardest language to learn. But, this was not a barrier for Mudad Revathi. She had been learning Malayalam for some time under the state-wide ‘Changathi’ programme, an initiative of the Kerala State Literacy Mission Authority to impart Malayalam

20 members including Keralites were arrested in a probe conducted by the Saudi Police's secret investigation department. Kerala MLA PTA Rahim’s son and son-in-law are also among those arrested.

In Karnataka, petrol is cheaper by Rs 2.93 and diesel by Rs 5.07 than Kerala. In fact, upper Talapady falls under Kerala, where the petrol diesel price is Rs 85.22 and Rs 78.80 respectively but in Karnataka, it is Rs 82.29 and Rs 73.73.
